After the initial crossing of Grandaddy Purps and Orange Bud, the yield sizes were low, so they introduced Kritikal Bilbo into the mix, enhancing capacity and producing an easy to grow and resistant cannabis strain.

Critical Orange Punch Trip Report

Critical Orange Punch Trip Report

She has the traits of an Indica but draws effects from her Sativa influence. The plant will grow with no problem indoors, outdoors and in greenhouses, with an average height of 1.5m. She has medium node distances and medium-sized leaves, with a predominant central cola. These properties mean she doesn’t need much special care and grows under almost any conditions. For optimized cannabinoid production, flowering should last from 7-8 weeks and, and if grown outdoors, the breeder suggests scheduling harvest by late October. Expect yields of large buds, with citrus and hashish smell with the presence of skunk. Overall, Critical Orange Punch is in the High Times’ Top 10 2018 varieties because of its hardiness, productiveness, tastes, and effects.

    • Advantages
      Amaaaazing strain!
    • Disadvantages
      May cause dry mouth
    • General impressions

Second grow with this strain. The small buds were surprisingly very smooth to smoke after 7 days of drying, with curing the early fruity tone clearly transformed into strong citrus. Once cured: - 6 pheno are like citrus, sweet, flowery - 1 pheno is more like: citrus, sweet, sour With 9 weeks of flowering this is typically your late afternoon, evening, night strain. With this one you will easily be able to sit and watch anything or just close your eyes and relax. Also very useful for falling asleep without noticing while feeling very relaxed. Second grow with this strain is a success, using "Top-Max" did a lot, first time I've had such dense buds with my 250W. Overall a nice grow, quick to trim (but not much trim material to work with for hash or anything), very nice pleasant taste once cured.

    • Advantages
The best strains I've ever grown are Dutch Passion... anything you want in a plant, they can provide it.
    • Disadvantages
      None
    • General impressions

Ultimately, I picked up scents like punchy citrus juice with a nice creamy, sweet note in the aftertaste that was very pungent and very strong. Make sure you have excellent ventilation for these as they are potent.

    • Advantages
Golf Ball sized nugs, dense and covered in orange pistils. Definitely a lighter green hue to these. Very sticky!
    • Disadvantages
      No
    • General impressions

I was pleasantly surprised by the yield from these 2 plants. Plant #1yielded a whopping 4.79 ounces and #2 yielded 3.57 ounces. Especially one that received as little attention as this one did. #2 remained resilient the entire grow, however due to the placement of my tent received the least amount of attention/defoliation, which is consistent with its yield. #1 was more easily accessible, and while it did have cal mag & ph issues early on, still received significant defoliation and care, hence the larger yield. Overall very happy with this strain!
