The Cali Connection, a legendary West Coast breeder, never fails to surprise us with unorthodox combinations of genes. In this cross, they achieved a perfect balance between a stimulating Sativa and a heavy-handed Indica. The former is provided by the in-house Tahoe OG Kush, while for the latter, they had to go much farther – to the mountain ranges of Afghanistan.

Genetics

Alien Kush, a strain of Afghani origin, provides Alien OG with much of its scents and flavors, including notes of earth and spiciness. Tahoe OG Kush, meanwhile, contributes its strong sedative effects, characteristic of the OG lineage. The result is a strain that makes a very powerful statement.

  I have to tell you this is my go to doctor. I have nerve damage in my head that causes crazy migraines so I'm always looking for a Sativa or Sativa dom Hyb but sometimes they just put you over the moon (Jack, White Widow etc.) which is great if you don't actually like communicating with anyone. I work in tech and have to be coherent all day, hold conference calls, think through problems and this tension allows me to function and focus my head. A little bit of a body buzz but I get a good cerebral high after taking a med that lasts about an hour. I can reapply all day and this does the job for me. Give it a try if you need to function. This is my anywhere/anytime solution and I love it.

  By far one of the best strains I've ever smoked. The smell is very piney, yet slightly sweet, and tastes exceptionally good. Usually I have to smoke several bong bowls to get a good high, but after one bowl I was super relaxed and incredibly high. I couldn't believe the head and body high I had after just one bowl! It was so nice to relax and just socialize and watch movies, but it was also appealing to go out and go to the beach or a party.

  If you are looking for a night time strain, then this is TEN stars. I've never had a heavier high, it kills all your pain and leaves you staring at the wall while you're off somewhere else in the universe. Truly a psychedelic high, which is amazing, because I've never had that reaction to any other strain. It hits quickly and hard, and within minutes you'll feel your eyes blurring and your head spinning. Definitely NOT a daytime strain, you won't get anything done. And NOT for beginners, it's too heavy to start with for a newbie!

  Alien OG is one of my new favorite strains! Easy to grow! Great strain! I'm usually an indica or indica dominant lover, but there are times when you want a good hybrid for social situations and this is good for that. But the most interesting thing I like the most about this strain is how when I hit my pipe, I can feel my lungs expand but there's no tickle in my throat that makes me cough. I don't like lines that make you cough, and I've never felt a tightness like this. So interesting, and a great buzz too! Try this, you'll be glad you did.

  I love this strain SO MUCH! I find the effects more relaxing and I become introspective, but most people become very social and talkative. She was receptive to all types of training. I did a 2nd defoliation mid-flower and it hurt my yields, but I did that because I didn't train her properly at first and was afraid of airflow, light penetration... the good stuff. They aren't huge nugs, but they are frosty and a great smoke. Will definitely grow this strain again.
