A little early to describe the overall impression, but I love the smell and fruity/piney taste right off the bat. Nighttime smoke for me, great with a movie. Buds are quite loose and airy and will depend on personal preference as to what you like. Lots of trichome coverage and the buds are extremely sticky to handle even after 7 days of drying. The few buds that didn't... uh, survive harvest were sampled and provide a satisfying hit of THC around the chops as well as a surprisingly pleasant taste despite the extreme prematurity of the curing process. Would happily grow this strain again. Big thanks to Herbies!

BB 3 Fast is doing well but not really very well. And I'm worried that BB3 is getting brittle. So, I'm not pushing growth with my compost tea. Instead, I've given it a root promoter that stops its vertical growth. How does compost tea speed up growth? I use fruit compost tea that has a blend with banana flower. Banana flower compost tends to elongate and speed up growth. However, it's like bean sprouts. They're big and fast but brittle. Where I live, banana flower is abundant and makes up part of the waste from the banana harvest. By far, they get thrown out. And some have made way for compost tea. A fungus growing on a banana flower produces gibberellin. Gibberellin stretches plants. The way I slow down growth is by adding a root promoter. This particular one with IAA in it. The effect is a thickening of the cell walls. The height will not increase. This week, BB3 stops growing altogether. Hopefully, the plant will be tougher. Next week, BB3 Fast will move into a larger container. It's the rainy season and I want the soil to drain well. So, I'm going to use a laundry basket as a container.

The effects are not long-lasting

SMOKE UPDATE: After 8 weeks in the jar the smell and flavours really comes through. Buds have tightened up nicely as they have cured and THC smack is instant (before the end of the first exhale) and may surprise those with modest tolerances. That said, the effects are not long lasting and can dissipate in under an hour and therefore is easy to regulate.
Buds have tightened up nicely and no longer have an 'airy' appearance that was present at first jarring.
Out of the four strains I grew during this round, this is the strain that my friends keep asking 'if I have any left'.
