Fast Flowering Sativa
Laughing Buddha from Barney’s Farm is a 60% Sativa-dominant cannabis strain that is a cross between Thai and Jamaican landraces. AS winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup, she has impressive stats, with yield usually testing at more than 20% THC and between 1-2% CBD, this terpene loaded strain will delight all who grow it.
As with any cross of various landraces, the genetics involved almost always have good resistance to pest and disease and that’s certainly true here. Pair that with a relatively short flowering period for a Sativa - of just 10-11weeks - make this strain great for growing both indoors and outdoors. The height will reach 100-110cm and during flowering it will stretch and double in size while its branches are covered with long, sticky and resinous buds, producing 450-600g/m2 or up to 700g/plant. In later weeks of flowering, branches could use support to deal with the weight of the buds.
- Recommended techniques: LST to increase bud production. Topping and Defoliation to increase number of colas.
- 12 plants are recommended per square meter in SOG
- Usually testing at 18-22% THC and 1-2% CBD
