Orange Juice Effects: A Glass Full Of Energy

The effects of Orange Juice cannabis strain are extremely fast to kick in. Once you exhale that dense white cloud of smoke, this strain leaves you in a complete, slightly disorienting daze. After that, as quickly as it hit you, the effect becomes a clear, cerebral high that lasts for hours. Orange Juice is filled with THC just as its namesake beverage is filled with vitamin C – and in this case, its 19% THC means great creativity, brainstorming, and long chats with friends.

Sweet And Refreshing For Your Tastebuds

Orange Juice is described by the breeder as the one “that makes cannabis refreshing”, and that’s no overstatement – the feminized Orange Juice variety has an incredible fresh orangey taste and is the ideal way to start your day with a wake ’n’ bake! If you like zesty citruses, you’ll love this weed strain. Orange Juice smells and tastes exactly how she sounds; a refreshing citrus taste fills your mouth on the exhale and lingers there for plenty of time afterward.

Growing Orange Juice, A Massive Yielder

Orange Juice is suitable for growing both indoors and outdoors. Due to her Sativa-dominant lineage, outdoor plants can reach as high as 3m (9’8”) – be sure to consider this if you’re planning to keep your garden stealthy. As for the yields, they’re just as gigantic: indoor yields for this strain are 500g/m2 (1.6oz/ft2) in as little as 70 days of flowering, while outdoor plants return a massive 800g (28oz) per plant when they’re ready for harvest in early October. Here’s some further information to help you grow this strain:

  • Orange Juice reaches a final height of 1.5m (4’9”) indoors and up to 3m (9’8”) outdoors, so use training techniques such as topping or fimming to manage this.
  • The recommended optimal lighting is 600W LED.
  • Fox Farm FX14049 Big Bloom, Grow Big & Tiger Bloom Trio are the recommended nutrients.

Genetics Made To Satisfy

Orange Juice is a feminized photoperiod cannabis variety developed by Dinafem Seeds. This beautiful strain is a result of self-crossing a Tangie mother to yield a strain with a sweet, almost candy-like orange taste and a highly refined Sativa-dominant genetic makeup.

    • Advantages
This was the easiest to grow. Shook off light stress and hard water to produce more yield than any of the others. Will be growing again. Dense, golf ball size nuggets.
    • Disadvantages
      None
    • General impressions

Was an easy grow with large frosty nuggets. Skunky aroma. Gave me the best volume of my plants and the density is terrific. Get a burnt orange in the smoke. Starts out bright but this really whacks my in the head! I start to nod! 😋

      Week 8.
OJ plant 2 leaves shows sign of nitrogen deficiency. Her sister is fine.
This week I fed the girls only once with diluted guano tea.
And OJ plant 2 protested with yellowing new leaves. If she is hungry, it is fixed easily enough. Reminding myself not to over fertilize. And next week, I’ll spray a round of cal mag just to be sure it’s not magnesium deficientcy.
Screwed up training on plant 1. From now until the end of flowering, she will need a piece of wire to prop up. Shall seal the breach with a neutral silicone that is laying around or something.
      Feeding summary:
Monday: Rain, Fed 2 liters, per liter (0.6 gram guano, 1.5 ml compost tea).
Tuesday: Anti mold / anti mite microbes
      Wednesday: Water
      Thursday: Water only
      Friday: Water only
      Saturday: Water only
Sunday: 0.5 g per liter, orchid foliar fertilzer 20-20-20
