Quick One Auto – More Than Just Speed

Quick One by RQS is one of the first autoflowering cannabis strains released. It is an Indica-dominant hybrid, a cross between legendary Lowryder #1 and an old school Indica. Staying short and finishing fast, Quick One has a mild 13% THC content and produces generous yields. It is a great choice for all growers that are starting with autoflowering cannabis varieties.

Path Breaking Strain

Deriving from the original autoflowering strain Lowryder, Quick One inherited its legendary qualities from the powerhouse strains — Williams Wonder, Northern Lights, and ruderalis. Its autoflowering ability comes from the ruderalis genetics, meaning that the plant flowers automatically without a change in light schedule. These genetics gave rise to almost all autoflowering strains available today.

With its maximum height of 50-60 cm, Quick One is a compact plant. Due to its small size and stature, it is well-suited for both indoors and outdoors. This unpretentious cannabis strain can grow on light exposed balconies, terraces or window stills. Having a good resistance to pest, disease and harsher climates, it is perfect for inexperienced growers and those starting with autoflowers. Quick One usually forms one huge main cola and a few smaller copies. Adorned with light green, dense buds, with numerous orange hairs, this cannabis strain will be ready to harvest in just 8-9 weeks from sprouting.

  • Indica-dominant (60%) hybrid, a cross between Lowryder #1 and old school Indica
  • Yield: 275-325g/m² or 100-150g/plant
  • 16 plants are recommended per square meter in SoG
  • Usually testing at 10-15% THC with ~1% CBD

Nice And Refreshing, Great To Use Throughout The Day

Its effects are relaxing and calming, not too intense, which makes it a good choice to use throughout the day. Flavors are citrusy, fruity and spicy, with herbal and earthy undertones. Aromas are fresh, earthy and woody, with hints of fruit, fuel and wood.

    • Advantages
Have a small space but wanna grow a little dank? Well, this lady is for you! She's short and moderately bushy.
LST and Supercropping (if familiar with it) is as far as i'll go with this gal.
I would suggest to stick to LST and ignore HST if this is your first grow.
    • Disadvantages
Late veg I for some reason knocked her head off one week before flower and she got immediately stunted and pre-hermied early flower after the accidental "top"; and gave up almost 3 weeks into flower along side my other two plants.
    • General impressions
I foremost understand it's my fault for killer her post flower. I don't blame the breeder or the genetics.
I think it's quite easy to grow and had no issues with PM (powdery mildew-mold).
had no pest so it wasn't an issue. Heat didn't stop her..
So. over all I'm pretty bummed but hey, it is what it is and I respect that.

    Hello Zac,

Thank you for your feedback on this strain, really helpful description of a personal experience. About the hermied plant - most likely something of external factors caused that, might be the lights were too close?
