Description

Bubblegum XL - Tasty and Potent Sativa

With its Sativa heritage, Bubblegum XL will grow vigorous and bushy and if allowed for enough root space and vegetation time, it can grow tall too, reaching 200cm. Like most Sativas, Bubblegum XL prefers sunnier, warmer and drier climates but does well indoors and in greenhouses too. Dense and hard, long buds will fill out numerous branches from top to bottom and branches may need some support to help them deal with the buds weight in the final weeks of flowering. Dark green in color, buds will be filled with yellow and orange hairs and coated with resinous trichomes.

Finishing flowering in 8-9 weeks indoors or by mid-October outdoors;
Height is 80-140cm indoors, 160-200cm outdoors;

Usually testing at 19% THC with ~1% CBD.

Potent and Full of Flavor

  Vigorous strain with a pretty good stretch causing by the Sativa dominance: better to do topping or LST. Solid base and branches for supporting pretty glossy flowers resinous and smelly
- Disadvantages
  
  Bad start for this phenotype, growing slowly look mutant but weeks after weeks the plants recover a normal structure: very solid after the topping
- General impressions
  
  I grew Bubble Gum 2 years ago (first indoor session).
  
  We got a few meaty main buds with a powerful and unique fragrance.
  
  After drying and curing, the flowers keep a refreshing aroma. A tasty smoke, deep and long flavor for a positive and stimulating effect

  They seem very sensitive to stress, to which they react quickly with slight hermaphroditism. It is essential to be careful of massive and irrepressible stretching at the beginning of flowering.
- General impressions
  
  Both phenos were very interesting. The buds of the #Purple pheno were super leafy. The other pheno called #Gummi is so rich that I got a headache while pruning. 😆 The strain seems to be rather old school, as described. The result is quite decent despite various flaws and a flowering time 2 weeks too short. In hindsight, I am satisfied and happy with the experience with these great plants.

  These are beautiful plants that grow like trees and smell like Fragolino wine (a sweeter scent than grapes!) 😍. Expect a long flowering time, I think it depends on the high sativa percentage of this strain (or maybe it's my inexperience playing its part).

  Unfortunately no Bubblegum flavor ... it taste like proper Skunk , I’m a bit disappointed I was really expecting that proper and typical flavor that I’ve known in the 90’s.
- General impressions
  
  That Strain is impressive, it grows really fast, it’s possible to get quite a big size plant with a short Veg.
  9 weeks of Veg has finished into 180cm plants with around 150 gr. dried buds each.
