Introducing A New Group Of High Performing Sativas

Mandala Seeds has spent years perfecting Satori, initially introducing this “new generation of sativa” in 2005. It is part of a collection of rare landrace strains from Mandala’s collection of Nepali genetics. Satori was created to make sativa easier to grow indoors and in hydroponic setups. According to Mandala, Satori is an ongoing project where seeds are continually tested in order to update or refresh its current genetic lineage.

    • Advantages
      - High yield; - Dense buds; - Resilient; - Strong and long-lasting effect - High seed quality
    • Disadvantages
      - long flowering
    • General impressions

Well, Satori! Mandala Seeds has created an excellent strain with superior yields and beautiful dense buds! Resistant to over 40 temperatures during vegetative and early flowering. The smell is only there if you plant more than one seed and only from week 3-4. The effects last a long time, easily keeping you high for 3-4 hours. Some tolerance may appear but it is quite slow. Out of 10 seeds, only 1 did not germinate, so that gives us 90% germination, which is awesome, 4 out of 9 were girls. From my own experience, flowering less than 10 weeks takes 10-15% off your harvest. Week 10 I would suggest putting it on a 24/12 cycle for one more week and you will get a +10-15% bonus to your harvest Remember these plants always gain the most in the last 2-3 weeks of flowering!

Great great strain! It’s been through so much, +50C heat, lamp heat burns, overfertilization and it survived and thrived no matter! Awesome quality and effects. Makes you hungry and talkative, very creative, you could write poems on it. Lasts for 3 - 4 hours coming and going gradually. Loved ordering at Herbies. A+

    • Advantages
one of the best strains if you can deal with it
    • Disadvantages
      very tall
    • General impressions

Germination rate 100%, but I killed 2 myself by just loving them too hard I guess. I was growing it in my 3 m wide and 2 m tall greenhouse alongside tomatoes and cucumbers. All of the nutrients I used were the same organics and minerals that I used for the other plants in the greenhouse. However, it won’t stop growing! They’re 0,5m tall already and I’m trying to bend it but i’m already sure that it’ll be taller than 2m. Extremely vigorous growth both upwards and sideways.I’m happy with this strain but if you’re considering growing it in a greenhouse, keep in mind that this big lady needs a separate greenhouse of her own! I’m harvesting it not earlier than november/december.
