Roof 95: An Almost-lost Gem

Roof 95 is a mysterious Indica-dominant strain resurrected from seeds which originated in Amsterdam in 1995! This almost-pure Indica is of Afghani origin and delivers short, fat resinous buds, true to its roots. A gift that was almost lost to the past, Roof 95 beat all odds and outshone all other plants despite being forgotten for 20 years.

Acclimated to the short Dutch season, she has a short flowering time, usually between 7-8 weeks and reports moderate yields of up to 450 g/m2. She is an easy grow and produces hardy plants that can withstand cooler climates. Indica-dominant strains such as Roof 95 would benefit from growing techniques such as Sea of Green (SoG); this type of training ensures each bud is exposed to the maximum amount of light - more light makes for bigger buds and a happy cultivator! Here is some more information to help you grow this strain:

  • Short height – Roof 95 reaches a final height of 0.9 m indoors
  • Max EC of water – 1.4 in veg, up to 1.9 in flower
  • Water pH; 5.8 – 6.0
  • Recommended lighting: Veg: 300W CFL, Flower: 450 W LED
  • Growing Technique: SoG and light pruning
